New month. NEW gig. It's like my first day out! Lol. I've been so nervous leading up to this day. But, it's finally here lol. I'm proud to announce that I'm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as an Anchor/ Reporter for NBC Local 33 and FOX 44 news.

This move may not make sense to many, but this is a true testament to YOUR journey is YOUR JOURNEY.

After graduating in 2019, I didn't have a job. Moved to Atlanta for a few months to stay with family. I stepped out on faith when I left and moved to a small town in Texas called Texarkana. No family or friends in sight! Lol. But, it was one of the best decisions I've made. God... I see what you're doing! Lol. Nonetheless, I was in the ArkLaTex region, a much smaller market. However, I never made myself feel small or treated any story like it wasn't big enough. I came in, learned, embraced the new environment, got the job done, and trusted the process. More importantly, I stayed in my lane and respected those around me. I found a way to bring joy, excitement, and creativity in my own way. Being in the business for nearly 2 years with much hard work, prayer, supportive and encouraging people ( of course family and my mentor Cortney Hicks ), and a leap of faith I ended up at CW39 in Houston, Texas. Now, I'm taking my talents in a different direction and taking on a new role. I know this is where I'm supposed to be right now.

Once again, I'm in a new environment with new pressure but nothing I can't handle. I'm up for the challenge. To make this move sooooo early on and still have a lot to learn is so unexplainable. This is nothing but GOD. I'm truly blessed and forever grateful! Continuing my journey... it's still the beginning!

Louisiana what's good?! #Stop3 It feels so weird to toot my own horn but today... I am! Lol. From MMJ to Reporter now Anchor in three years!

I'm so excited to be here while doing what I love - telling stories! I can't wait to learn about Houston and embrace the culture. I'm devoted to the people!
